What problem are you having with Lexmark Toolbar?

You have more than one toolbar and they seem to be switched in the View->Toolbars menu.

This problem affects all toolbars and can occur if you are using Internet Explorer with Windows XP. To correct this problem:

  1. Click Here.
  2. If prompted by "Open File - Security Warning", click Run.
  3. If prompted by "Registry Editor", click Yes.
  4. Close and re-open all copies of Internet Explorer.
  5. Click View->Toolbars, and select "Lexmark Toolbar" to enable it.
  6. Repeat the previous step if there are additional toolbars you want to enable.

You can't print a Word, Excel, PDF or other file you are viewing that is embedded within Internet Explorer.

Internet Explorer doesn't allow the Lexmark Toolbar to print files from embedded applications. To print, you must use the print button within the embedded application.

You scheduled a Web page to print, but the Toolbar never printed it.

In the following situations, the Lexmark Toolbar isn't allowed to print:

  • Your computer is powered off at print time.
  • Your computer is in a sleep or hibernation state at print time, and does not support ACPI.
  • You're not logged into your account at print time.
  • Your computer doesn't have a connection to the Internet at print time.
  • Your printer is disconnected at print time.
  • Your printer is in an error state at print time (out of paper, paper jam, etc.).

You scheduled a Web page to print, and it printed more pages than you wanted.

  1. Click Lexmark on the Lexmark Toolbar.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Click Schedule.
  4. Click the check box, and set the maximum number of pages.
  5. Click OK.

Toolbar not showing in folder view.

  1. The folder view is compatible with XP and Vista 32-bit only.
  2. If your system matches these requirements, try opening a new folder view window.

Only part of the page prints.

The "Print selection" option may be on. To disable:

  1. Click Lexmark on the Lexmark Toolbar.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Click the Printing tab.
  4. Uncheck the Print selection checkbox.
  5. Click OK.

Buttons not available in folder view.
