COMPANY OVERVIEW

Company Briefing
Lexmark is a global company committed to making printing easier.

The company has been developing simple-to-use laser and inkjet printers, supplies and services that work in the office and home since 1991. These traits have transformed Lexmark from an ambitious start-up to a Fortune 500 company that in 2005 reported approximately US$5.2 billion in revenue.

Like its products, Lexmark’s approach to business is also straightforward. Lexmark only focuses on printers, owning and designing its own technology. The company’s products span the full range of printing solutions – from desktop printers used to print out pictures in the home, through to high-end multifunction laser devices and solutions used by some of the world’s biggest corporations.

Lexmark’s customers are at the centre of everything it does. The company leverages its global customer insight in areas such as Asia Pacific to guide technology choices into becoming compelling products and solutions. Lexmark relies on a wide range of partners to provide its customers with the best quality products and services. Retail, distributor and reseller partners can be found in more than 150 countries around the world – including most countries in Asia Pacific.

Divisional Structure
Lexmark's products and services are developed and marketed through two primary business divisions:
